Frequent questions about large company asset insurance 

Business asset insurance is for the sector of large businesses with property worth more than PLN 20 million in a single location or PLN 30 million in all locations.

The Insured may be e.g:

  • an entity engaged in production, trade or service activities,
  • the owner of a property,
  • financial institution,
  • a housing cooperative or community,
  • car dealer.

The information necessary to conclude an insurance contract is determined at the risk analysis stage by the underwriter.

It includes:

  • description of the activity,
  • description of the structure and condition of individual facilities,
  • description of fire and theft protection means,
  • location addresses,
  • sums insured, broken down into insurance subjects and locations,
  • period and scope of coverage requested,
  • list of damages and damage reserves from at least the last 3 years.
Valuation of the cost of insurance requires a professional risk assessment. The insurance price is determined individually depending on the scope of insurance, type of activity, external threats, structure and protection of property, damage and other factors contributing to the exposure to damage or risk of damage.

No. However, like any insurance company, we have limited insurance capacity. This capacity depends primarily on the available reinsurance capacity. The main criterion for accepting risk to be covered (in terms of exposure value) is the PML index.

It determines the maximum possible value of damage that may occur as a result of one event. At Allianz, the PML value is calculated by an experienced team of risk engineers.

The amount of the deductible or deductible franchise is always determined individually and depends on factors taken into account in the risk assessment. Usually the deductible is between PLN 1000 and PLN 5000.

In individual cases, we can set a different amount of deductible franchise – according to the level of risk.
